ENTRY TEN: AUTOMOBILE HATE

And other stuffs.

Today (a week ago, the day before I caught a flu) at six-fifty-something PM, I saw another one of those Christmas light cars right outside of my shitty apartment. There were some assholes outside taking pictures, which I did as well, but I was still inside and I thought it was the dumbest thing ever. It stood out there for about 15 minutes before driving off. I was laughing the entire time.
Post-Christmas and I haven't seen any of those cars again, but that might have to do with me being sick and not going anywhere.

I never bring this up here, but I earnestly do not like cars and driving. I don't even hate people who drive cars or whatever, I just don't like the idea of being in a car and driving it. Unfortuntely I live in The States and there's a road like everywhere you go.
I honestly don't get it, how people are like "Yeah, I like driving EVERYWHERE and ANYWHERE!" Emphasis on driving and not being driven. I'm completely ok with just sitting in a car for however long with a friend or family member that can actually drive because I get to stare at what's going on outside without having to worry about someone on the road being bad at the task at hand.

Since this is me complaining about vehicles, those large pickup trucks. It's always the people who have no need for a pickup truck bying one. I mean it. What does the average midwestern suburbanite with an American flag flying on a pole in their front yard possibly need a Ford F-150 for other than it looking badass to them. Some people find them 'comfortable' but they're still more likely to rollover than some sedan, and I also don't trust them to be able to see a pedestrian easily. I could be entirely wrong about these pickup trucks but I don't really care and I'm guessing you don't either.
Even when they are being used for hauling and stuff, the people driving them are still some flavor of asshole, which is like the main issue I have with people driving anything. I don't know what it is and I feel like I'm way too tired to keep this up.
What I'm trying to say with all this is that those Christmas Light Cars are stupid.

General update time! I'm getting better after that flu, I'm just a little bit dizzy. My stomach was favoring liquids instead of food but I'm starting to be able to eat normal stuff. I really want some cheesecake right now.

There's also something else I can complain about which is really just a me issue but TWO weeks ago I found something on Amazon that was mostly just some reprint of The Haunting of Cashen's Gap but with the author's extra stuff in it. It's good that it's more easy access I GUESS, but I wish it was just free for people and not put up on Amazon for something you'd expect to have way more of the other Author's original writing.
"What happened to that PDF" SICK. I didn't forget about that! I promise.
In general, I think I like when stuff like books are free and you can just read them if you want, which is why libraries are pretty cool. There's also that chance where something would've been better if it was just a free product.
If only people didn't need money for food to eat. Damn.
